About the role#
Haworth is hiring an Information Security Systems Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our corporate headquarters in Holland, Michigan. You will join a cohort of interns for a 12-week program that includes hands-on projects, professional workshops, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
You will support our security team by working on several key initiatives. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the SAP security India audit.
- Supporting ongoing privacy tasks.
- Contributing to core security projects.
- Helping with risk management tasks.
What you'll need#
To be eligible, you must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology. Your expected graduation date should fall between December 2027 and May 2029. You must have an unrestricted right to work in the US.
We look for candidates who possess:
- A GPA of 2.95 or higher.
- Foundational knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, GDPR, and SOX.
- Familiarity with network security, endpoint protection, and security assessment methods.
- An understanding of incident response and security operations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and manage deadlines.
- A desire to research and solve problems.
Prior employment, extra-curricular activity experience, or previous time at Haworth are considered assets.
