About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program based in Chicago. You will join cross-functional teams to support business objectives and member-focused solutions. Throughout the program, you will learn organizational processes and technologies while gaining hands-on experience. You will work under the guidance of a mentor and manager to complete project deliverables and present your findings to department leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, and implement technical production automation solutions.
- Develop sophisticated database solutions using emerging technologies.
- Conduct research and analyze data to provide business recommendations.
- Provide customer support for internally developed applications.
- Participate in professional development workshops, networking events, and volunteer activities.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, and Corporate Integrity policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program as a rising senior.
- Major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Knowledge or experience in C#, VB.NET, SQL, and Visual Basic.
- Practical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Availability for the full 10-week duration of the program.
