About the role#
The Enterprise Technology Services intern program offers college students the opportunity to gain experience in the financial sector. You will support the Desktop Support Services group by applying your academic knowledge to daily tasks. This is a year-round, on-site internship that requires active enrollment in an accredited university throughout the duration of the program. You will work under the guidance of management and senior staff to develop your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end users.
- Provide customer service while interacting with multiple departments.
- Apply technical knowledge within established standards, change control, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in a collaborative, team-driven network.
- Complete assigned duties and special projects as directed by management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program, specifically in Computer Science.
- Basic knowledge of networking, including IP and DNS.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity, such as MFA and phishing.
- Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional presence, maturity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Preferred: CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certifications.
- Preferred: Experience with ConnectWise Remote Support, CyberArk, or Citrix VDI troubleshooting.
Location & details#
- Location: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Commitment: Minimum of 20 to 25 hours per week, based on your school schedule.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time internship.
