About the role#
This 12-week internship program runs from May 2027 through August 2027. You will join the Digital Payments Operations group, working alongside product strategy and business operations teams. Your work focuses on analyzing data, implementation schedules, and industry trends to recommend operational structures that support our money movement capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Assess current organizational structures against future strategies and identify emerging operational requirements.
- Analyze production data and industry best practices to find opportunities for optimization in areas like fraud identification, training, and support operations.
- Evaluate how business unit dependencies affect our digital payment strategies.
- Develop recommendations for team formations, shift patterns, reporting lines, and communication strategies.
- Present your findings and proposals to management and senior leadership.
- Participate in the day-to-day strategy, analysis, and operations of the team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Experience with operational research, organizational design, and process improvement.
- Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, PowerBI, SQL, SPSS Modeler, R, or Tableau.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to tell stories through data.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of financial services or payments is a plus.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Available locations: Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida.
- Working hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CT.
