About the role#
The Retail Marketing team at HarperCollins manages independent bookstore trade shows, events, preorder campaigns, and specialized mailings. We are looking for a summer intern to support these efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Associate Director with the planning and preparation for the Children's Institute.
- Manage Indie Next mailings and create reminder newsletters.
- Support Fall Regional Planning and the in-house Fall Preview.
- Mail ARCs and promotional items to booksellers.
- Update the internal database of bookstores and Indie Next information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or master's program in Marketing, English, or Communications.
- Availability to work on-site in the New York City office 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
- A genuine interest in books.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: June 7, 2027 to August 12, 2027.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
