About the role#
The Marketing Operations team at HarperCollins Christian Publishing offers a paid internship for those interested in the publishing industry. You will work across various publishing divisions, collaborating with authors, editors, and sales teams to support our daily operations. We look for individuals who enjoy books and want to learn how digital marketing functions within a publishing house.
What you'll do#
- Gain knowledge of digital marketing and earn multiple platform certifications.
- Use SEO platforms to analyze websites and find insights.
- Attend editorial, marketing, and titling meetings to see the publishing life cycle.
- Assist with social media strategies and content planning.
- Research marketing and consumer trends.
- Explore Amazon marketing options and metadata optimization.
- Present data analytics and reporting to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior, recent graduate, or master's student.
- Availability to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 7 to August 12, 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A resume and a cover letter addressed to the Hiring Team.
- A genuine interest in books.
- Experience with Excel, Canva, Airtable, SQL, or PowerBI is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- You must work in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Mondays and Thursdays are remote workdays.
- This position is paid at $18 per hour.
