About the role#
HarperChristian Resources is looking for a marketing intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in the publishing industry by supporting our Bible studies division. This role involves working on social media strategy, content creation, and campaign planning to help connect our resources with new audiences.
What you'll do#
- Develop marketing campaign plans designed to reach 18 to 25-year-olds.
- Write and edit marketing materials including book hooks, talking points, and positioning statements.
- Design and proofread marketing plans to ensure they align with our brand.
- Assist with mailings for church and influencer outreach.
- Participate in author calls and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
- Manage content uploads for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Write blog posts and emails for various marketing channels.
- Coordinate lifestyle photo assets across Amazon, our website, and social media.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and analyze campaign performance.
- Support the marketing team in managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or master's program in business, communications, marketing, PR, or a related field.
- Availability to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 7 to August 12, 2027.
- Ability to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028.
- Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience or comfort with data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Active engagement with social media and current digital trends.
- Previous church or ministry experience is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A resume and cover letter addressed to the Hiring Team.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Mandatory in-office days are Tuesday and Wednesday, with Monday and Thursday as remote workdays.
- Compensation is $18 per hour.
