About the role#
HarperCollins Children’s Books is looking for a Marketing Intern to support teams working on books for ages 0-18. This role is for someone who can manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while working with our marketing and social media teams.
What you'll do#
- Learn how our teams publish children's books and assist with administrative tasks using publishing software.
- Write marketing copy for blog posts, social media, and other digital content.
- Assist in the creation of videos, graphics, and other digital assets for campaigns.
- Participate in content brainstorms and photoshoots.
- Coordinate marketing mailings for influencer campaigns.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising senior, recent graduate, or master’s student with up to 1 year of work experience.
- You are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or English.
- You have excellent writing, project management, and organizational skills.
- You are comfortable with content creation and understand social media trends on Instagram and TikTok.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with Canva, WordPress, and Photoshop.
- You have a passion for books and familiarity with the children’s book market.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States. A resume and cover letter are required for your application.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role in our New York City office.
- You must be available to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 7 to August 12, 2027.
- This is a paid internship at $18 per hour.
