About the role#
This is a student aide position based at the front desk of a computer lab. You will provide direct support to students and staff who use the facility.
What you'll do#
- Help users log in to lab computers.
- Assist with locating software and using printing services.
- Coordinate with the Service Desk and IT staff to report hardware or software malfunctions.
- Address and resolve questions or technical problems as they occur.
What you'll need#
- You must be a registered Harper College student currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues.
- Prior customer service experience is helpful.
- This role is open to students from majors including Computer Science, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Design, and Media Studies.

- The position is located in Palatine, Illinois.
- This is an on-site role for the Summer 2026 term.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
