About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring Psychotherapist Interns to join our outpatient clinics. This is a paid, full-time position for individuals pursuing careers in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. You will work as an independent contractor with the flexibility to set your own hours.
What you'll do#
- Perform psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services to ensure compliance with company policies.
What you'll need#
- A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or current progress toward obtaining one.
- Prior work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Orlando, Florida.
- Work is conducted both on-site and remotely.
- You will have the option to work up to 50 percent telemedicine from the start.
- Compensation is set at 35 dollars per billable hour.
- The company provides group malpractice insurance and administrative support.
