Psychotherapist Intern Outpatient Clinic– CSW / MHC / MFT/ Independent Contractor

About the role#

Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient mental health network in Tampa. This role is for an Independent Contractor who will provide clinical services to adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. You will have the flexibility to determine your own working hours and the option to work up to 50% via telemedicine.

What you'll do#

• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health conditions.
• Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.

What you'll need#

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy.
• An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
