About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for our outpatient clinic in The Villages, Florida. This is a paid, full-time position for individuals pursuing their clinical licensure. You will work as an independent contractor with the flexibility to set your own hours.
What you'll do#
- Perform psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for a range of mental health conditions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and effective therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services in accordance with company policies.
What you'll need#
- A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or current progress toward obtaining one.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

- Location: The Villages, Florida.
- Modality: On-site with options for telemedicine.
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- Schedule: Rolling start date with flexible hours available Monday through Sunday.
