About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient mental health team. This role supports patients through in-person and virtual visits. You will work as an independent contractor with the flexibility to set your own hours. We offer a mix of on-site, remote, and hybrid work options.
What you'll do#
- Perform psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and social workers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services in line with company policies.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Preference is given to candidates with previous work experience in an outpatient setting.
Location & details#
- Location: Orlando, Florida.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- Schedule: Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth. Telemedicine options are available Friday through Sunday.
