About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinic network. This is a paid, full-time position for individuals pursuing their clinical practice. You will work as an independent contractor with the flexibility to set your own hours.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, provide diagnoses, and deliver therapeutic interventions for diverse mental health conditions.
- Offer various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services in accordance with company policies.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or current status in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Clearwater, Florida.
- Work is performed through a mix of on-site and remote telehealth visits.
- You may choose your working hours, with office availability Monday through Thursday and telemedicine options available Friday through Sunday.
- You have the option to work 50% remotely from the start of your employment.
