About the role#
This is a per diem position for students interested in contributing to food and nutrition services. You will join the dietary team to support meal service for patients, employees, and staff.
What you'll do#
- Prepare the assembly line station for patient supper tray service.
- Assemble food items according to marked menus.
- Transport food carts to and from designated areas on patient floors.
- Collect garbage from dietary and cafeteria areas and transport it to the compactor.
- Scrape, wash, and sanitize dishware, pots, and pans.
- Utilize proper body mechanics to ensure safety while performing physical tasks.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least sixteen years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand both written and oral communication.
- Prior experience is helpful but not required.
