About the role#
The Guardian Summer Internship Program is a 10-week, full-time, paid experience. You will work within the Group Benefits Transformation team to support strategic initiatives. This role offers the chance to engage in projects that directly influence business operations, interact with senior leaders, and build a professional network across the organization. The program runs from May 27, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Partner with leaders across Operations, Claims, Service, and Transformation to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze operational and customer data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the development of executive presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop learning and development plans for newly implemented improvements.
- Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, and product offerings.
- Work alongside supportive leaders, mentors, and team members.
- Think broadly and ask questions about data and business information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance (graduation date of May 2028).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency using data analytics and generative AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, MAI Image 2.5 Flash, Flux.2 Flex, and GPT-Image.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

- This is an on-site role based in New York, NY, Bethlehem, PA, or Boston, MA.
- Housing is not provided.
- The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $35.00 per hour.
