About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer of 2027. You will train and assist with retail accounting functions while gaining exposure to the financial operations of the company. You must participate in all internship program activities, including mentoring and networking events, and complete a final project.
What you'll do#
- Assist with account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and dashboards.
- Identify and implement process documentation and automation opportunities.
- Support annual budget processes and forecasting initiatives.
- Prepare audit schedules.
- Follow company policies related to corporate compliance, safety, and environmental standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program at a 4-year university.
- Good academic standing at the start of the internship.
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel, including occasional overnight trips.
- Ability to work for a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer.
- Availability to attend required meetings in May, June, and August 2027.
