About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate accounting and financial management within the agriculture industry. You will work directly with our corporate accounting department during the summer of 2027. This role is based on-site in Indianapolis and is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support the corporate accounting team with daily tasks.
- Assist Controllers with financial analysis projects.
- Identify a manual or inefficient accounting process and design a solution to improve it.
- Help prepare the upcoming fiscal budget, including forecasting and template management.
- Attend meetings with Controllers and divisional leadership to learn how our business operates.
- Gain a practical understanding of accounting procedures in a complex, multi-location organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Agriculture.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Completion of at least two accounting or finance courses is preferred.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
