About the role#
This internship provides experience in accounting and finance principles within a complex farming organization. You will work on-site at our operations to gain practical knowledge of financial processes.
What you'll do#
- Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial obligations.
- Assist with month-end journal entries to ensure a timely and accurate close.
- Help prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Support general ledger activities, including fixed assets, depreciation schedules, notes payable, inventory, prepaids, investments, and cost allocations.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and data tracking.
- Assist with accruals and perform special projects as assigned.
Location & details#
- Location: Boardman, Oregon.
- Term: Minimum of 8 weeks, with options for additional experience.
- Schedule: Full-time, 50+ hours per week, including occasional weekends.
- Compensation: $14.55 per hour.
- Scholarship: A $10,000 scholarship is awarded upon successful completion of the internship.
- Housing: May be provided based on availability.
- Start dates: Flexible based on your academic calendar.
