About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting, finance, and management within the agriculture industry. You will work directly with the corporate accounting department to support daily operations and financial analysis. The program runs from May through August 2027 and is designed to provide real-world experience while helping you build a professional foundation in a complex business environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the corporate accounting team with daily tasks.
- Assist Controllers with financial analysis projects.
- Identify a manual or inefficient accounting process and design a solution to improve it.
- Help prepare the next fiscal budget, including forecasting and template administration.
- Attend meetings with Controllers, divisional leaders, and staff.
- Learn the internal processes and procedures required to support the financial needs of the company.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Accounting, Finance, Management, Ag Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Completion of at least two accounting or finance courses is preferred.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
