About the role#
Greenville University is seeking a Student Worker for 1892 Supply. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position for the Summer 2026 term. Candidates must be currently enrolled at Greenville University for the Spring 2026 semester and registered for the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop.
- Provide customer service and engage with visitors.
- Operate coffee equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Greenville University (Spring 2026 and Fall 2026).
- Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred.
- Experience in food service management, particularly in a coffee shop or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
