Student Worker- Summer 1892 Supply

About the role#

Greenville University is seeking a Student Worker for 1892 Supply. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position for the Summer 2026 term. Candidates must be currently enrolled at Greenville University for the Spring 2026 semester and registered for the Fall 2026 semester.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop.
• Provide customer service and engage with visitors.
• Operate coffee equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student at Greenville University (Spring 2026 and Fall 2026).
• Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred.
• Experience in food service management, particularly in a coffee shop or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
