About the role#
Greenville University is seeking a student worker to join the 1892 Supply team for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position open to students enrolled for both the Spring 2026 and Fall 2026 semesters. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Communications.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages.
- Operate coffee equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
- Provide customer service and engage with patrons.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Greenville University for Spring 2026 and Fall 2026.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn different brewing methods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Experience in food service management, particularly in a coffee shop or restaurant setting, is preferred.
- Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
