About the role#
This position involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment at Greenville University. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as needed.
- Assist with the setup and teardown for campus events.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Greenville University.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Capability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
- Open to students from various academic backgrounds, including Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Public Health, Human Resources, Environmental Engineering, and Criminal Justice.
