About the role#

1892 Supply at Greenville University is seeking a motivated student worker to join the team as a Barista and Retail Associate. This role involves managing daily coffee shop operations, ensuring a high standard of service, and maintaining a clean environment for the campus community.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages.
• Operate coffee equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Provide customer service and engage with patrons.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Greenville University student taking at least 6 credit hours.
• Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
