About the role#
1892 Supply is seeking a motivated student worker to join the team as a Barista and Retail Associate. This role focuses on providing quality service to customers while maintaining the daily operations of the shop. This is a paid, on-site position for the Fall 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop workspace.
- Provide customer service and engage with patrons.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Must be a Greenville University student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
- Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and transactions using basic math skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
