Student Worker - Part-Time Facilities Support Worker

About the role#

Greenville University is seeking proactive and reliable students to support the Facilities team during the summer of 2026. This part-time position focuses on the maintenance and preparation of campus facilities to ensure spaces are ready for use.

What you'll do#

• Assist with moving and arranging furniture across campus buildings.
• Support basic repair and maintenance tasks as directed by Facilities staff.
• Prepare rooms and spaces to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Work collaboratively with Facilities team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines while working in various campus spaces.

What you'll need#

• Proactive and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to assist with furniture moving and basic repairs.
• Organizational skills to prepare rooms and spaces.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Open to students majoring in Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or Political Science.
