About the role#
Greenville University is seeking a Graduate Assistant for Residence Life to join the Student Integrated Success Team. This is a part-time, live-in position that requires the employee to reside in an assigned campus residence. You will support the leadership and oversight of residential communities to foster an inclusive environment for students.
What you'll do#
- Support the recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of Resident Assistants.
- Provide mentorship and developmental support to student leaders through regular one-on-one meetings.
- Cultivate inclusive residential communities and develop engagement programs focused on student wellness, academic success, and leadership.
- Serve as a first-line support resource for students experiencing personal, academic, or social concerns.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergencies and incidents.
- Support occupancy management, including room changes and health and safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and departmental reports.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Admission to or enrollment in a Greenville University graduate program.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- The ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- A commitment to the mission and values of Greenville University.
