About the role#
The Specialty Summer Intern program offers rising college seniors hands-on experience in corporate risk management and the insurance industry. This 8-week program provides exposure to specific specialty lines, including Private Equity, Human Capital Risk, and Tax Insurance. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain a practical understanding of how underwriting, legal, and operations teams deliver solutions to clients.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to risk management within a specific specialty line.
- Conduct research, perform data analysis, and participate in special client-focused projects.
- Engage in a start-to-finish client prospecting effort, including client engagement, risk identification, and solution delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, markets, and other insurance professionals.
- Participate in events to increase business acumen and interact with leadership.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A long-term interest in a career in insurance.
- Prior working experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills.
