About the role#
The Specialty Summer Internship Program offers rising college seniors hands-on experience in corporate risk management and the insurance industry. This 8-week program provides exposure to risk management within specific specialty lines, such as Financial Lines or Professional and Cyber Solutions. Interns will work directly with teams to gain a better understanding of day-to-day risk management in the commercial space.
What you'll do#
- Learn risk analysis, contract language, and corporate communication skills.
- Collaborate with clients, insurance markets, and other professionals.
- Participate in business acumen and professional development events to interact with leadership.
- Conduct research, perform data analysis, and contribute to special client-focused projects.
- Engage in a start-to-finish client prospecting effort, including client engagement, risk identification, and solution delivery.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have strong communication, networking, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Prior work experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Denver, Colorado.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The program duration is eight weeks, from June 7, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
- We can work with students to meet criteria for academic course credit.
