About the role#
This internship program provides an introduction to the property and casualty insurance industry. You will work within a commercial specialty insurance carrier and gain practical business experience. The program is underwriting-focused and lasts for 10 weeks, running from late May through early August.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to day-to-day assignments within a specific business unit.
- Complete a special project in areas such as underwriting, products, or research.
- Connect with professionals across various functions to learn about the organization.
- Participate in networking events, professional development activities, and educational sessions.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Demonstrated leadership through work experience, internships, co-ops, campus involvement, or extracurricular activities.
- Strong communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
