About the role#
The Targeted Acquisitions and Strategic Investments team identifies and executes acquisitions, investments, and partnerships to grow the company. As an intern, you will support this team by sourcing targets, performing valuations, and analyzing our existing portfolio of partners. This is a full-time summer internship based in our Cincinnati office.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research to find potential M&A targets and investment opportunities.
- Perform financial analysis and valuation of potential targets.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of transactions.
- Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations.
- Support due diligence processes by gathering and analyzing data.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategic recommendations.
- Monitor and report on the performance of acquired companies and investments.
- Update the CRM system with notes and insights from investment activities.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once in an unstructured environment.
- Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
