About the role#
Novacore is seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This is a paid, full-time hybrid position. You will work from our Conshohocken, Pennsylvania office three days per week and work from home for the remaining two days. The program runs from May 17th through August 5th.
What you'll do#
You will support our finance team with daily operations and month-end processes. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the close checklist and following up on open items.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts to supporting schedules.
- Investigating and documenting account variances.
- Maintaining accurate records in accounting systems.
- Participating in team meetings and summarizing action items.
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, specifically in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Preference for students entering their Sophomore or Junior year.
- A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Comfort with data analysis tools or a willingness to learn these systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
