About the role#
Novacore is seeking a high-performing college student to join our Summer 2027 Internship Program. This role supports our GIG Specialty Insurance Programs. You will gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry through project work, mentorship, and team collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members with daily underwriting operations.
- Communicate with agents via phone and email to provide customer service.
- Review submission files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Request missing information to finalize tasks.
- Support the team with policy issuance, binding, and billing.
- Prepare documentation under the guidance of the underwriting team.
- Attend team meetings and handle additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration degree program.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a focus on organization.
- A customer-focused attitude and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Capability to work well within a team environment.

- Location: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17th through August 5th).
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
