About the role#
Novacore is seeking a Business Analytics Intern for our Summer 2027 program. You will gain hands-on experience working with insurance data and supporting our underwriting, claims, and finance teams. This is a paid, full-time internship that provides mentorship, project exposure, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
- Write SQL queries to pull, clean, and validate data from our enterprise warehouse.
- Perform data quality checks by reconciling premium, exposure, and loss figures.
- Document data definitions, report logic, and process maps.
- Assist analysts with project testing and data feed validation.
- Conduct market and benchmarking research to support performance analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current Sophomore or Junior status preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, or Risk Management.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel is required.
- Experience with SQL and Power BI is a plus, though we provide training on these tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently across multiple deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in how insurance data drives business decisions.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and work well within a team.

- Location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17 through August 5).
