About the role#
Novacore is seeking an IT/Security Intern for our 2027 summer program. This role provides hands-on experience with network operations and infrastructure within the insurance industry. You will work alongside our team to support daily IT functions and long-term security projects. This is a paid, full-time internship running from May 17th through August 5th.
What you'll do#
- Support new employee onboarding by setting up laptops, managing network connectivity, and granting system access.
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrade projects and global planning efforts.
- Assist with the implementation of our cyber security roadmap.
- Help resolve service desk tickets to support internal users.
- Track open equipment items and inventory.
- Participate in team meetings and handle additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program, specifically majoring in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
- Preference is given to students entering their Sophomore or Junior year.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems.
- Capability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and stay organized.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships with business partners.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
- The role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days per week onsite and 2 days working from home.
