About the role#
Novacore is seeking a student for our Summer 2027 Internship Program. You will join the Transportation team to support our Tow Truck and Garage Insurance Program. This is a full-time, paid internship running from May 17th through August 5th.
What you'll do#
- Support team members with daily underwriting operations.
- Communicate with agents by phone and email to provide customer service.
- Check submissions for accuracy and completeness, requesting additional information when needed.
- Help with policy issuance, binding, and billing processes.
- Prepare files and review documentation under the guidance of underwriters.
- Track open items and follow up to ensure tasks are completed.
- Participate in team meetings and handle other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration degree program.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines while staying organized.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Ability to work well within a team.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Metairie, Louisiana.
- The schedule is hybrid, requiring three days onsite in the office and two days of remote work.
