About the role#
The Third Party Service Provider Intern supports supplier lifecycle management, data governance, and operational activities within the Strategic Sourcing Division. You will gain hands-on experience with supplier and contract data, business systems, and AI-enabled tools. This role involves working with team members on process improvement projects and assisting with compliance and reporting. You will receive structured training before taking on more independent tasks.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update supplier, contract, and engagement records in the Third-Party Service Platform.
- Audit and cleanse data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze data to identify trends and reporting needs.
- Use AI and Copilot tools for research, validation, and reporting.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding workflows.
- Respond to inquiries via shared team inboxes and support queues.
- Support data governance, system testing, and documentation of SOPs.
- Assist with audit, compliance, and management reporting.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the academic year.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience with ServiceNow or AI tools like Copilot is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Work Modality: Hybrid and on-site.
- Schedule: Full-time during summer, part-time during the academic year.
- Interns are expected to work in the office Monday through Thursday during the summer and maintain an on-site presence during the school year based on class schedules.
