You will work alongside engineers on modeling, data integration, validation, and documentation tasks. This role offers practical experience applying engineering knowledge to digital twins and facilities data within a technical, multidisciplinary environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the development and maintenance of digital twins for data labs using NVIDIA Omniverse and OpenUSD.
    • Create accurate 3D representations of lab spaces and equipment using engineering information.
    • Convert and organize 3D data into reusable OpenUSD assets and structured scenes.
    • Integrate mechanical, electrical, and facilities infrastructure into digital twin models.
    • Compare digital models against engineering drawings, layouts, and physical environments to identify discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information for updating models.
    • Follow established modeling conventions, file-management practices, and documentation standards.

    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
    • An analytical approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
    • Ability to organize work, follow processes, and learn new software.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
    • Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, CAD tools, or Python is preferred.
    • Basic understanding of data centers, building systems, or facilities infrastructure is a plus.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Austin, Texas, United States.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (12-week program, May through August).
