About the role#
Arthrex is hiring an Engineering Co-op for the SYNERGY Manufacturing team in Ave Maria, Florida. This role supports the Imaging and Resection group by insourcing new products, validating machinery, and improving manufacturing processes. You will work 40 hours per week on-site from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Validate new and existing manufacturing machinery.
- Create and implement process improvements.
- Design and manufacture shop aids.
- Support manufacturing documentation.
- Conduct product testing, including documenting and analyzing results.
- Assist with insourcing new products.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an engineering degree program or graduation within the last six months.
- Preference for Junior status or above in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally.
- Skill in working through technical issues.
- Experience with CAD, specifically SolidWorks, is preferred.
- Experience with basic hand tools, manual machines, or CNC machines is preferred.
