About the role#
BlueWave is hiring an Engineering Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. You will join our team from January through June to gain practical experience in the renewable energy industry. You will work closely with subject matter experts to help move solar and battery storage projects from the design phase into construction.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of design layouts and energy models.
- Support the creation of construction details.
- Review construction product submittals under the direction of the engineering team.
- Review surveys and geotechnical reports.
- Complete additional tasks to help advance projects through design and construction.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Interest in renewable energy.
- Willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with CAD is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
