About the role#
As a Knowledge Management and Training Project Intern, you will join the Technical Services team to develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources for data center engineering environments. You will work alongside engineers and subject matter experts to organize technical information so colleagues can find, understand, and apply guidance effectively. This role provides practical experience in documentation, onboarding, and project coordination.
What you'll do#
- Create, review, and organize technical documentation, guidance, and standard operating procedures.
- Develop onboarding and training materials for engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture and translate operational information into clear, structured content.
- Maintain knowledge resources using approved document-management tools.
- Organize content to ensure users can identify current guidance and locate information efficiently.
- Prepare safety, compliance, and operational learning materials.
- Review existing content for clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
- Route technical questions to the appropriate subject matter expert.
- Gather user feedback to identify practical improvements.
- Maintain project records, assist with status updates, and track action items.
- Complete assigned tasks within timelines and communicate progress clearly.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in communications, information management, business, learning and development, technical communication, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly.
- Careful attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to follow established processes, incorporate feedback, and ask questions when needed.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate respectfully with colleagues from different backgrounds.
- Interest in learning about technical, engineering, data center, or operational environments.
- Confidence using common productivity, presentation, and collaboration tools.
- Experience creating documentation or training materials is preferred.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Confluence or SharePoint is a plus.
- Experience gathering and organizing information from multiple sources is helpful.
- Interest in workplace safety, compliance, or artificial intelligence infrastructure is beneficial.

- Term: Summer 2027 (12-week program, May through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
