About the role#
Enterprise Assurance Services (EAS) interns work across a portfolio of public and private client engagements. You will support clients with governance, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. This role provides exposure to IT audits, SOC examinations, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan audits.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning and executing client engagements by understanding client objectives, processes, risks, and control environments.
- Evaluate and test business process controls, information technology controls, and automated controls.
- Support IT audit, SOC reporting, sustainability reporting, and employee benefit plan audit engagements.
- Utilize data analytics tools and AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency and identify insights.
- Draft workpapers, reports, client communications, and other deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Interest in pursuing professional certifications, including CPA, CISA, or CIA.
Location & details#
- This is a Summer 2027 internship based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- The position is full-time and follows a hybrid work model requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week at a company office or client site.
