About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will assist construction engineering operations to ensure work meets all engineering standards. This role requires on-site work at our project locations.
What you'll do#
- Interpret designs and drawings for takeoff and workforce planning.
- Prepare and distribute documentation including status reports, punch lists, and sketches.
- Provide technical support for project materials, delivery dates, and construction schedules.
- Assist with change orders and estimates.
- Develop job data such as quantity take-offs and material pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities for work performed and materials installed.
- Support and comply with corporate safety initiatives.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in construction estimating, engineering, or field support.
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Ability to perform trigonometric calculations.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
