About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will assist construction engineering operations to ensure work meets all engineering standards. This role involves working on-site and requires a valid driver's license.
What you'll do#
- Interpret design drawings for bidding and construction projects.
- Prepare status reports, punch lists, sketches, and material requirement calculations.
- Provide technical support regarding project materials, delivery dates, and construction schedules.
- Assist with change orders and estimates by preparing drawings and sketches.
- Develop job data, including quantity take-offs and material pricing.
- Track quantities for work performed and materials installed for cost control.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
- Up to 2 years of experience in construction estimating, engineering, or field support.
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Ability to perform trigonometric calculations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
- Commitment to corporate safety initiatives and the company Code of Conduct.

- Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
