About the role#
This Equipment Intern position supports information systems processes for our Equipment department. You will help ensure our systems align with company objectives and policies while gaining hands-on experience in a construction environment.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the Equipment Department SharePoint site.
- Work with the Equipment Administration group to manage asset master files.
- Help configure new applications to support field operations.
- Research user questions and issues to provide feedback.
- Convert paper files to electronic formats while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related undergraduate program at an accredited 4-year university.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with a variety of people.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and oral communication.
- High attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience with SharePoint, Oracle, SAP ERP, Microsoft Visual Studio, or .Net is a plus.

- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- Locations: Santa Maria, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; or Bakersfield, CA.
