About the role#
This internship places you within the Regional Controller’s group. You will gain exposure to core finance and accounting functions while working on projects that support regional operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and year-to-date reporting on critical performance metrics for the Regional Management Dashboard.
- Perform self-audits to evaluate compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Track plant inventory quantities.
- Improve internal report formats using queries, pivot tables, and slide decks.
- Conduct analysis on lost bids.
- Identify and explore process improvement opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- You have a strong academic record.
- You possess advanced MS Excel skills, specifically with pivot tables and vlookup.
- You are proficient in MS PowerPoint and general spreadsheet software.
- You have strong analytical capabilities.
- You communicate well and enjoy working with different groups of people.
