About the role#
The Oracle Application Developer Intern supports the development and enhancement of Oracle-based applications. You will create technical solutions, assist with coding, testing, debugging, and system integrations, and collaborate with team members on application improvements. This position provides hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, database technologies, technical documentation, and enterprise system support.
What you'll do#
- Develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs.
- Write technical specifications, unit test plans, and installation plans for new systems or enhancements.
- Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing, and debugging.
- Coordinate with team members on solutions and perform code reviews.
- Build advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies.
- Develop file and database structures and system interfaces.
- Provide third-tier user support during installation and training.
- Design forms, reports, data collection, and processing procedures.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- At least one semester remaining in your degree program upon the start of the internship.
- Ability to use AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to support daily work.
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
- Experience integrating AI into workflows and familiarity with AI-assisted research and content generation.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection.
- Preferred: Experience with AI-assisted software development, knowledge of prompting techniques, and awareness of GenAI capabilities.

- Location: Irving, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 26, 2027, to August 6, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (2 days a week in office).
- Employment: Full-time and paid.
