About the role#
This internship focuses on analyzing portfolio performance, validating data accuracy, and turning business challenges into data-driven insights. You will partner with management and internal stakeholders to develop reports, support credit risk analysis, and present recommendations that guide business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Employ data analysis and validation practices to ensure accurate results.
- Assist with portfolio performance reporting for an auto finance portfolio.
- Design and implement model documentation.
- Identify business issues and translate them into quantitative questions.
- Work directly with internal customers to create or adjust reports.
- Summarize findings and present analyses to management.
- Manage multiple projects while working with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate tasks under pressure to meet deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Business Analytics, or Management Information Systems.
- At least one semester remaining upon the start of the internship.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting to business leaders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, including evaluating outputs for accuracy, bias, and compliance.
