About the role#
This is a full-time, 11-week paid internship running from May 26 to August 6, 2027. You will work alongside legal professionals on corporate projects, research tasks, and compliance initiatives. The program includes networking opportunities, project work, and development sessions.
What you'll do#
- Research, review, and draft company documents, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze legal developments relevant to the company.
- Support attorneys in the prosecution and defense of corporate lawsuits.
- Gather evidence for legal claims.
- Help ensure corporate compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Participate in mandatory intern events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in law school (between 2nd and 3rd year) or status as a gap year graduate preparing for the bar exam.
- Proficiency in legal research methods, administrative procedures, and rules of evidence.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents.
- Strong analytical skills to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with personnel, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to use AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, including evaluating outputs for accuracy, bias, and compliance.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection.
- Previous experience in auto finance is a plus.

- Location: Fort Worth, Texas.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office.
