About the role#
The Investment Analyst Intern will support the Portfolio Management team within the Overlay Solutions group. This 10-week program provides hands-on experience in investment management, portfolio analytics, and trading floor risk management. You will work on real projects, collaborate with investment professionals, and participate in a capstone project presented to business leaders.
What you'll do#
- Assist portfolio managers and analysts with investment research and client projects.
- Maintain, enhance, and develop proprietary databases and analytical tools.
- Prepare investment management proposals and client performance summaries.
- Perform account audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of internal systems.
- Identify opportunities to automate routine processes, including the use of AI and emerging technologies.
- Develop data exports and reports to improve team efficiency.
- Support projects related to trading floor risk management and portfolio oversight.
- Take on additional responsibilities based on your skill set and business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior or rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business, or a related field.
- A strong interest in investment management and financial markets.
- Solid analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with technology and an interest in using AI, data, and automation to improve business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
