About the role#
The Manufacturing Automation team at the Fab 9 site in Vermont is looking for an intern to support factory operations. You will work with the team responsible for automation equipment and mobile robotics platforms. This role involves hands-on support for building and installing new automated manufacturing cells, as well as maintaining existing equipment.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, assembly, and integration of automated and robotic manufacturing cells.
- Help prepare manufacturing cells for future automation readiness.
- Evaluate and improve existing or future automated equipment.
- Lead improvement projects within a diverse manufacturing team.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner while following environmental and security requirements.
What you'll need#
- You must be a junior at the time of application.
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum overall 3.0 GPA is required.
- You must be able to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary.
