About the role#
The Helmet Vision Systems team develops helmet-mounted displays for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. These systems project flight, tactical, and sensor data directly into a pilot's field of view to improve situational awareness. As a Systems Engineer Intern, you will work on these display technologies and contribute to projects that enhance pilot safety and performance.
What you'll do#
- Perform systems requirements definition, design, analysis, integration, test, verification, and demonstration tasks.
- Collect and analyze data while troubleshooting issues from lab and flight tests.
- Support the update, peer review, and release of systems documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work alongside experienced engineers.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Minimum of 60 credit hours or Junior standing by the start of the internship.
- Must remain enrolled through the full duration of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
